This week it was a four day week at school since there was no school on Monday. There was no school on Monday because it was President's Day. We should respect all of our presidents even if they passed away. They all helped The United States of America at one time is American history. Either they did something no one could forget or they are respected. Soon we are going to vote for a new president, that president is already being respected in their voting campaign. Last week in Social Studies class we made posters on how the president is elected and how you can become a president. I worked with my friend and we made a beautiful poster and its title was How is the President Elected. We have facts about it such as that you have to be a natural born citizen in the United States to become president. Two other things that are important are that you must be over the age of thirty-five. The final thing that you should know is that you have to live in the United States for over or fourteen years. Those are only three things that you need to be elected for president. There are more but I am only writing some. In the future I am not going to be running for president but I know that I will be voting for a president for a president that I will like when I am old enough to vote. This blog is related to English because when we were doing rotations I thought about why we didn’t have school on Monday because of President’s Day. I hope everyone thought about the presidents in the past, present and future. Our president right now is President Barack Obama. I appreciate all the presidents for their hard work and their dedication to their jobs.
