AUTHOR'S PURPOSE: Why did the author include this chapter? (Entertain, persuade, inform?)
I think the author made this chapter because this chapter in detail says where Phineas Gage went when he was injured. Like the doctor he went to, and other important things about his terrible experience. Sadly at the end of the chapter Phineas Gage dies and The Harvard Medical School gathers Phineas Gage's skull and they placed it in the corner of a table. Since the skull is not in a case locked up people are still not aloud to touch.
