Pope Saint John XXIII was born on November 25, 1881 with his birth name Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli. Angelos's family had fourteen children and he was the fourth child. The family of sharecroppers lived in a village called Lombardy. When he was a child he was tutored by a priest of Carvico. When Angelo was twelve years old he went to a seminary at Bargamo. At age 21 he received a scholarship from the Cerisoli Foudation that let him study in Rome to learn from Umberto Benigni. In 1904 he was ordained as a priest after he was interrupted with his studies to serve in the army. During the new bishop Giacomo Radini Tedische of Bergamo he was chosen as secretary.

Saint John XXIII had passed away on the evening of June 3, 1963. At the age of 81 Saint John XXIII had died at 7:49 P.M. on June 3, 1963 who had died in his apartment at the Vatican City.
